We came here for a birthday dinner during our stay at the resort! The services there were top notched! Very friendly and welcoming environment. We had the chicken parma and the wild mushroom risotto . Definitely recommended the chicken Parma and its perfect fried chips on the side.

Down visiting family on the island and wanted to try out the restaurant. We rang late afternoon to book a table for 4 and despite the restaurant being nearly at capacity they kindly swapped a few things around to get us in that night. It was a very cold night but the fireplace made it inviting, warm & cozy. Friendly and happy staff provided great service. From their cocktails to their meals everything was perfect! Arancini balls were flavoursome and the calamari were fresh & melted in your mouth. Both steaks were cooked to perfection as per guests requests. Only side note was the menu listed on their website isn’t the exact current menu (was looking out for the chicken bao). We were very impressed with all the meals & will definitely be back. Thanks for the great service Flametrees team!

Had dinner here tonight as we have only just arrived at the resort after a long drive and didn't feel like cooking. Loved the feel to this place and how you can overlook the pool area, was very busy with holiday makers, booking are essential but they just take your villa number rather than your name. Entrees arrived pretty quickly, but there was a little bit of a wait for the mains. Also, our waiter guy was foreign and struggled with understanding us I think. Food was very good though. My crispy skin salmon was sensational, and the missus's caeser salad was tops also. Prices were pretty good, about what I'd expect to pay.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Flame Tree Restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the lamb to start and the beef as my main – both were cooked beautifully and full of flavour. My partner had the cauliflower followed by the spaghetti with prawn and lobster, which she also enjoyed. Just a quick note: the spaghetti dish was quite spicy, so something to be mindful of for those who may prefer milder flavours. A special shoutout to Jocelyne, our waiter, who truly made the experience even better. We arrived just after 3 PM (with the restaurant closing at 4), and she welcomed us with a big smile, making us feel very comfortable. She was incredibly kind, offered great service, and even gave us helpful tips for our trip around the island. Highly recommend this place – tasty food, beautiful setting, and genuinely warm service!

Will definitely return to Flametrees on our next visit to the island. Service with a smile, food with flavours and clean facilities with no fuss. We had the yummy barramundi fish & chips with tartare sauce, salt & pepper calamari and washed down with a sparkling water and pot of tea.

I was very dubious when they didn't replace the "butter knife" with a regular steak knife. But as I cut into the eye fillet I was amazed. My medium rare steak was succulent, juicy and unbelievably tender! And so we sat in rapturous silence for the next few moments. Update: Lunch - Calamari with salad and chips. Beef burger with chips. Both were really good. Chips were so crispy and light. Calamari was delish also. You could taste and smell the smokey flame grilled beef. Perfect. Everything was 5 stars again. The softly cracking fire next to my elbow complemented the view of the pool and meal. It was simply perfect.
